Our main outreach to families in the local community is through Babies Bundles and Parents Pit Stop
Parents Pit Stop is a courtesy tent supported and staffed by volunteers from Bayside Church.Currently we place the tent in the Einbunpin festival which is held each year on the last weekend of July. This festival showcases the various community groups in the area and is a great family day out.
We as a group have a desire to give into the community and provide support and encouragement to Mum’s and Dads who have young children. The Einbunpin festival provides a fantastic opportunity to engage with young families and share some practical parenting tips and a place to change the little one and have a break.
Babies Bundles is an expecting mum’s gift package full of all kinds of practical and fun stuff for new mums to be. So far we’ve given a bunch of these away and we always get a great response. The reason we do this is because we reckon mums and babies are awesome and we want them to know that.
